Got to the pier at around 10am today, got the tides wrong, thought high was around 12 noon, but was right out when i arrived, must of been reading next weeks tides, lol. (was hoping to fish the 1st gate)
So after a long walk to the end, fished from Marker 50 seaward side. is this badspot, as every cast today except 2 i lost all my gear, gutted!!!
Not a bite all day, had a half hour with the daylights but nothing happening there either, but still i relaxing day, one day i will catch something worth taking to the table!!! ;)

Oh and hi to the guy originally from easington collery who stoped for a chat this morning, blanked mate!!! Again!!!!

I fished at the 50 mark on Saturday and lost nowt, it's sand from about 50 yards out.

Been on there tonight and their is a string of pots from the blocks to the end, so thats what you would be getting snagged on.

Loads of fish caught on the end of the pier tonight, small codling, colies, pouting, whiting, flounder, plaice and loads of dabs.

I fished the 13 mark yesterday between noon and five pm and caught a small coalie and a codling. There were also a few small plaice caught around the first gate.

Is it me or is it a really slow year? :(
