Hi lads I am gonna fish the pier for the first time so any advise on where abouts to fish would be most welcome cheers in advance

If u can cast more than 50 yards u should be fine. In my opinion the less snaggy place is the 44 mark, most snaggy being the blocks. Fish the ebb of the end, and flood on 44 say to get you started! It's one if the most fished marks around here, so I'm sure you'll get loads of help. Plenty of marks to choose from. When I get home ill send you a link of 1 of the best web pages. As already mentioned if u can cast 50-80 yds you should be fine just about anywhere on the pier. The round end can also have a very strong tide pull on tides over 5m
