Hi all.

Was a great day today, a very good turnout and weigh in. Conditions warmer than expected and a light wind. I also managed to get a new pb again, happy as ever! ... Anyways...

19 fished, 14 weighed in. Some people where joint with weight of fish so rankings based on amount of fish caught (for those members only). The top rods were:


1st - Paul Smith, 8 fish, 10lb 6ozs

2nd - Andrew Nickerson (me! ), 7 fish, 9lb 9ozs

3rd - Robert Lees, 3 fish, 5lb 7ozs

4th - Phil Coates, 5 fish, 4lb 9ozs

5th - Harry Elliot, 4 fish, 4lb 9ozs

6th - Ian Elliot, 3 fish, 3lb 4ozs

7th - Marc Wilkinson, 3 fish, 3lb 2ozs

8th - Joe McDonald, 3 fish, 2lb 9ozs

9th - Geordie Cooper, 2 fish, 2lb 1ozs

10th - Billy Buckham, 3 fish, 2lb 0-ozs

11th - Jimmy Carville, 2 fish, 1lb 10ozs

12th - Eric Ward, 1 fish, 1lb 10ozs

Joint 13th Place, Mark Robson and Simon Felstead, 2 fish each, 1lb 6ozs, each.

Well done on your new PB mate. No change for me yet. Was up at Hebburn with Stevie yesterday he had 2 codling 3 flounders, am standing next to him same bait same everything only managed 2 y tings. Put them together they wouldnt have been size. The teddy come right out the cot and the pet lip was like a bacon roll. Lol, will keep at it though.

No probs buddy. Pictures arnt of best quality for two reasons, one, me phones good but camera not good on it. Two, me mam cannot take a picture using a phone (very unsteady hands unfortunately... )

Nice one buddy. Seems. a few marks on the pier did the business today, just hope this good runbof fishing continues into next week.

A didnt use it mate, had a feeling there would be a few canny fish aboot so used my 515 mag2. Didn't lose any gear all day either and caught fish, so am either fishing the pier spot on or someone up there likes me...

A hope so mate, 10lb'er would probably give me the biggest grin on earth if a get one soon.
