Hello.
16 anglers turned out for this monthly comp, held today from 11am till 4pm. Was quite blustery with that westerly wind, which was often gusting hard at times. Canny little roll on the waves still too.
9 weighed in, the results are:
1st - Phil Coates, 8 fish, 7lb 6ozs (Shields pier)
2nd - Steve Elliot, 8 fish, 6lb 9ozs (Tyne)
3rd - Andrew Nickerson (me), 10 fish, 6lb 4ozs (Shields pier)
4th - Robert Lees, 5 fish, 4lb 5oz (Tyne)
5th - Kevin Hall, 3 fish, 3lb 4ozs (Shields pier)
6th - Russ Overton, 3 fish, 1lb 15oz (Tyne)
7th - Alan Scott, 3 fish, 1lb 12oz (Shields pier)
8th - Keith Walker, 2 fish, 1lb 7ozs (Shields pier, they must have been shoaling...
)
9th - Dave Hall, 1 fish, 12ozs (Shields pier)
