had a few hours out last night got to the walkway at about 8:15pm fished with 2 rods one with lug and mussel out in the channel the othere with rag and mackeral a bit closer in had a few small knocks on the closer rod so put the same on the othere rod after a few mins had a small knock then the rod bent over and the line took off towards the piers could feel the fish nodding all the way in then hit a snag very close in tried for about 15 mins to get it out before using brute force and the line parted nothing more between 3 of us after that so moved to the tyne bridge nothing doing there so called it a night at 12:30am
