where can i get spare parts for a penn 525 mag? tripod blew over and the casings cracked (a 25lb cod took a hold of my bait and swam the other way honest) does anybody know if it,s worth repairing or is it just not worth it?

I just got my Penn 535 mag a new power handle thru Mick and the service was spot on!

i cracked my 525 mag cage last winter ( must of been the same cod dragged it off my tripod), i phoned for a replacement and they recomended super gluing it, they said its ok as the cage is not under stress, i was a bit sceptical but went along with it, take the spool out first, put in a little drop, then rub down the residue with fine grade wet\'n\'dry, pop the spool back in and hey presto, ive had no trouble with mine since i repaired it and it runs sweet as a nut, hope this helps

Do you think it\'s the same for a SL30 cos I smashed mine and the cage split?

I have got a schematic drawing for the Penn 525 mag as well as alot of Abu\'s, Diawa it list all the part no\'s and gives a good breakdown of the reel.
