It's a hard one to answer mate as you can only really help prevent to spigot from wearing I.e was them down remove sand and so on, this time of year carbon can act it's self by swelling in the heat, you could rub the spigot down a tiny bit but wouldn't recommend it this time of year. Come winter they could contract a little and cause it to be loose lol.
Use a bit of PTFE lubricant. Apply it then wipe of the excess, keeps them from sticking. Some people use candle wax too.

I wouldn't recommend you put silicone spray on your rods to shine them up as its a nightmare if you ever need it rebuilt or even get guides replaced if they break.

I just hoy mine in the corner until I'm out next, if I'm feeling energetic I might take the reels off...
Same as me then once a year take them apart clean and oil, if I have been in the beach they might get a soak in the sink
