Got a packet of those to try but the release seems a little stiff to me, when you try to push up the blade to release the clip. Any body tried them ? Do they release every time ? Thanks in advance for any advice.

If it's the red ones you only push the disk to the first notch, there all I would use now they release every time

These ones are blue mate, it just seems a bit too positive when you push the disc into the lock position you know. Will give them a test.

Hi mate I have used them before and had no problem with them they are spot on

When using bigger hooks for cod,ie 3/0 or 4/0 etc the wire on the hooks r too thick to go in the clipok for small thin wire patterns in 1/0's or so.
Much prefer the imp's or bait shields

I have found them to release every time but as HH says the maximum hook size for them is 4/0.

best bait clip i have ever used great wth f/spools also they dont prelease.

using them on sandy they can get clogged up a bit so give them a dip in sea water to clean them.not to expensive either imo.

Had the first one that didn't release today, that's 2 trips with the same rotten bottom, the disk has become very stiff to slide up.

hi assuming you are using the f/spool it always a prob wth f spool and big clips pre releasing unless others know summit i dont if so shed a light please.
