Squirrels?

Lived in South Shields all my life and shot over most of the farms in the area for the last 25 years, but never seen a squirrel around these parts.

Woke up this morning to find one (a grey) pinching nuts out of the bird feeder, it stayed for a good hour, even though the local magpie community seemed festered by its presence and were dive bombing it the whole time.

Anybody else seen any around here?

There in my area as well, must live in the park a mile away as there is not much green around Gateshead lol, when your on 6-2 shift you see them at the side of the roads and that.(grey\'s)

I\'m in Whiteleas Bri, the houses that back onto Fergies Farm in Boldon.

Spoke to a lad this afternoon who seen 1 running across the John Reid Rd from the crematorium about 3 years ago, so there must be a few kicking about Shields/Boldon area?

I`m down by the New Crown - So unless your Squirrel was training for the Great North Run ,Shields must have a canny few

Looks like they\'re all over shields. I live close to the West Park and have seen more than one in there before.

Lmfho ---- just noticed bottom of the page... the link to \'Tomahawk Squirrel Traps\'. Don\'t think half a dozen sitings warrants rushing out for a trap.

MickA - your dead right about the links on the bottom of the pages - i went on the one Paula has put on about Whales and there is a link about swimming with Whales and Dolphins

Who is Going to start a topic about Big Breasted Woman -- the link would be interesting LMFAO :D :D

All reds up here where I live...See the odd one. Greys are a pest Rob....Apparently they taste a lot like rabbit m8.

plenty greys in the washington area, most people think they are lovely at the mo, wait until they see them raiding birds nest and generally causing havoc. Keep the rifle handy i say....
