what a day!!! 15 pollack, 4 wrasse , 6 bass, skate, red cod, and dogfish then my alarm went off signalling the time to wake up and get ready for the trip ....headed out to st abbs with phil185 and another(i dont know his username) after the abseil down set up caught mackerel on spinner and continually snagged on the bait rods . weather took a turn so we then left st abbs and then head off to kirkcudbright and do some matadoring dodging cows. at kirkcudbright caught pollack and mackerel and again my bait rods continually snagged ..phil185 lost a good un on the spinning rod and another caught pollack too ...so no blanking but coulda been a better day..over n out ..

It was a canny day out, shame we had to shift from St Abbs but if we didnt i think we will have probably ended up in the water. After the good start down there i wasnt ready for us to head home and kircudbright was the only place where the weather was ok, good thing that was the case with the few decent pollock that showed for me and gary (Gaverick).

I have no idea what it was i lost on the jellyworm but by god did it shift, almost had me off my perch as it took off  I managed to keep it on for all of about 10 seconds, i think the hooklength was a bit worse for wear off its earlier use and that gave way.
