Managed to make it out on Saturday, fished about 50 yards away from the steps, frozen runnydown live rag tipped with mussel, nothing till 2 hours after high tide, then 1 about 2.5lb another 1.5lb.
Same place last night same bait blanked, "Its a funny old world"

Happy New year and tight lines to all.

Davy, it can always change from one tide to another mate. You could go down every night for a month and it would never be the same. Same as you could go down with a mate and he comes away with three or four fish and you get nothing using the same bait  :D Try some different baits as well as the ones you are using as something like that can make a difference.

I quite enjoy fishing from there now (easy access) but it is better on a big northerly as that corner gets a bit of shelter. I've still had fish out when it has been a lot calmer but better with a good roll on.

Jim.

Had to watch out last night, car park was like a skating rink, even with a four wheel drive it was iffy, didn't fancy parking on the bank top with the boy racers trying to slip up the road.
