headed out of piers about eight thirty tried for mackerel around piers nothing then headed hard ground off tynemouth had a few mackerel the drift was so fast we decided to anchor inbetween steeple and st marys we were in to fish straight away codling mackerel we had twenty codling heaviest fish tipped the scales at nine pound caught on mackerel baited daylights think they are back again
