Had some bait left over from Sat night so decided to put it to some use, I could see by the web cams that the sea had came away again so decided to have a go on a beach somewhere. Once at the coast I soon changed my mind when I saw the sea, too big for the beaches I fish so I decided it would have to be Blyth pier, one look along the pier and I changed my mind again (forgot my shoehorn) didn't think I would fit on. Decided to fish the prom at St Mary's, conditions seemed perfect, really nice sea on but after 3 or 4 casts nothing but lost gear, just then I heard someone shouting, thought it was someone else into a big fish, it wasn't it was a dog owner shouting of his dog as it was releaving itself down the side of my tackle box and onto the lid of my bait box  Never mind I thought it might bring be luck, I shook of the dribbles and re-baited, sure enough it did bring me luck, that was the only cast I had where I got my gear back. :p

No fish but at least the tackle box was light as I walked back to the car.
