DESIDED TO FISH ST.PETERS BASIN TO KILL A FEW HOURS. I FISHED 11.30 TILL 3.00, FISHING WITH 2 RODS CAUGHT 6 CODLING BEST BEING:thumbup: UPTO ABOUT 3/4 LB AND A SMALL WHITING. MISSED LOADS OF FISH, I WAS GETTING A BITE ON 1 ROD BRINGING IT IN, THEN AS I WAS BRINGING IT IN A BITE ON THE OTHER ROD, IT WAS CRAZY TO HAVE SO MANY BITES IN SUCH A SHORT LENGTH OF TIME. BEST BAIT SEEMED TO BE FRESH LUG. IT WAS A CANNY SESH

Hi all
I fished the basin today 9-30am till 2-30pm had the same sort of sesh
loads of whiting & under sized codling had fish on Rag - mussel - macky & bluey strips, no sooner was the bait hiting the water & they were there good sport though enjoyed it.

YEAH IT IS ON THE NORTH SIDE MATE JUST ALONG FROM SPILLERS, OPPOSITE THE ELEPHANT ON THE TYNE ITS A CANNY MARK WITH VERY LITTLE SNAGS HOPE THIS HELPS

much further up river mate not far from Id tackle {byker} the elephant and castle is on the gateshead side {friars goose boat club}
