Hit Staincliffe at high tideish (5.30) yesterday, there was three of us on there! sea conditions were good held bottom no bother slight swell on well. I caught 2 whities and a rockling (undersized) the 2 other lads caught 4 whities 1 for the pot 3 rockling and a flatie in the 2 and half hours i was there so good night by all then i packed up and went to middleton untill 9.30pm caught one little rockling for my troubles !!!

Ya not the first to say something along those lines mate! I'm going to go else were this year already staked out some new spots !!!

Had a few good sesions on Sheilds this year so far mate. Went up there on the 1st after I had been on Middleton with you and had a hell of a sesh. three cod from four pound down to two and a half. Bites on both rods every cast and lost a few in the kelp but waves were rolling further along the pier up to high tide so was pushed back to the gate and then it was just flattys and whities.
Fished there again last night got one cod about a pound and a half and two decent flattys.
