I used to go on this pier when the old factory was open. Used to sneak through on me trials bike with me mate. Drop the lines down off the balconies on the pier because you could not get on the end concrete bit and we hammered the fish. Honest i had so many one day i could not carry them on the back of me trials bike. Security used to come along and hoy you off after a while. This will have been over 30 years ago. Funny thing is they allowed coppers on.Those days i was an apprentice bricklayer.
Anyway Micky you could leave your motor at the top of cemetry road. You cannot miss this road you drive into the Headland and turn left just head for the big chimney pipe.
Folk leave the motors and generally there is no probs. Personally i have done it a few times but recently i came across a motor screwed. Back window out and contents ripped out. Its a bit like taking candy from a baby leaving the motor there. The place has smackheads and i personally never leave it now.
The alternatives are -
1,leave your motor on the sea front near the twin steps on the headland and walk across the tops.VERY SAFE Approx distance 2 miles, done this and its ok.
2, Leave your motor next to Gus Robinsons and cut through to cemetry road. Did this with Insano and Beachlover recently and ok.STILL CONCERNED.
3, Park you motor in West View and walk under the Brus tunnel and onto Steetly this way. I will probably try this route next. Spotted some police houses where i can park me motor outside.
Finally its easier for me cos i,m from the Pool and i know the place like the back of my hand. In fact if my ex-wife was still in her old home at West View i could have parked me car outside hers. There and again she would probably torch it. Give me a pm and i,ll let you know when i,m down next.
Mick.
