steetly last night

well the plan was to fish horden yesterday over low water but just couldnt be bothered after getting the kids settled down for the night i decided to head out to hartlepool instead and decided to give steetly a try got there for about 2200 walked upto the end had a couple words with the lads up there and they only had a odd whitie so i moved back down a little and had a couple of casts without any bites after about an hour i decided to move down a little more between the gate and the platforms had a few casts behind the breakers hoping for summit to happen but again no luck finally had enough of trying by midnight and decided to pack up and go home.......another journey out waste of time effort and really good bait think thats my season over with now going to take summit decent to change my mind this time

Tough luck Daz-still would,nt give in mate until after March. There will be some lunkers about full of rowe. I,m probs down on Sunday all being well. Probs the Heugh fishing onto the edge of the rocks.

if its any consolation it has slowed right down lately i only managed couple of tommies and 1 size codling last night at 40cm,s but still a chance of bigger fish till the season finishes but ya have to try and put some hours in

Keep trying mate, loads of time yet to get some good fish. Just hard work at the mo
