anyone help, the intrepid bradford 4 would like to know if the steetly can be fished at low tide, we like to make the most of our journeys

Steetley can be fished at any state of the tide mate, best fish normally come from the end or the pump (just before the end on the left hand side)

Apparently the first platform on the North Side fishes well on the flood as there is a hole about 60 yards out. This really is a good pier but mind you if there are no cod or bass about be well prepared to get plagued with whities. Drop net or gaff advised just incase you do hook in to that \'big fish\' as there\'s no way down and a bloody long walk back to the end in order to beach your fish. Just to check, you did know about the £5 per person and £2 per car charge. And another thing, you\'re not allowed to use a rod rest on there anymore. The bloke in the white van has put a stop to this due to it taking him 1/2 to drive up the pier one day waiting for everyone to fold up their stands. I\'m sure you could always just use one and fold it up when you see the van about to come on the pier. Good luck
