Hard luck Toddy. I have been using two rods lately off steetly. One with a three hook flapper with some bits of macky or pilchard on. In fact any cheap bait and hoying it out 30yards. The big rod is out a long way looking for the big fish and the other rod is just for fun. Hard work when it bounces all over but keeps you occupied.
Wind can be a bit of a pain though.
