hello all, been without internet for over two months now cos BT wanted me to chop a whole forest down rather than they move one pole W*N*E*R*S

So far I've managed to get six down and shredded or burnt them or stashed the logs.

Still got a few to go and hired a cherry picker for next week and sent me chainsaw for a service

I'm on a caravan site at the min up near Avimore for a few days jollys and they have a wi fi facility for £5 for 24 hours so I'm hoping for rain tomorrow lol so I can catch up on everything.
 
Hi Keith, apart from the skate and tope fishing just done a couple of hours down the isle of whithorn spinning and float fishing. I got the feeling winter is gonna creep up before i know it and i'll be on the wrong coast lol
 
Hello Graham mate ,good to see you're still in one piece ;).

Some great fishing around there mate but I guess you've still got plenty to do before settling down into a more permanent fishing lifestyle :D
 
Hi Graham, Good to hear from you again. Careful what you do with that chain saw. It can really b****r up your casting if you slip with it.

Very true Steve, it'll be more like next summer for me, still got 1000 unfinished jobs but I'm hoping to fish the nesa comp this year
 
Never fished up ther ein the winter.

Had many Skate this year? I still not managed a trip :(

Sure you will be online and kicking again very soon.
 
Winter cod fishing along the Solway coast was fantastic till it was fished out by commercials and has never recovered. Same as the Ayrshire coast up to the Clyde. The summer fishing is good but there's not much about in winter

Had a few skate this year but not got out as much as previous years. Onyermarks are going up to Crinnen again in Nov and I think there are still some dates free so there still may be time!
