Managed a trip out yesterday with the old man. Planned to launch at Newbiggin (church point) with a view to paddling/peddling to Cambios and drift different reefs on the way back. We had a back up plan of fishing off Stinking Hole at the bottom of the cliffs for plaice if the cod werent showing.........
Plan failed i managed to fluke a size cod when targeting flats but the reefs werent holding any fish
As a last resort we tried for tiddles around the monument on the breakwater at Newbiggin even failed at this......
Struggled to get DT out as he refused to count a blank but he finally conceded.
