fished blyth harbour last night till nine pm (forgot my head light ) had plenty of bites but didnt connect , first bites ive had down there since november one was a stonker so hopefully its about to pick up , baits were frozen old crab , squid , prawn , bluey and maccy only the crab was touched , did see a pair of herons down there which was nice

the river tyne is fishing ok for small stuff but there is some codling being caught to up 2lb mark.
