Well finsihed work at 6.40am after a 10hour nightshift but with a smooth sea on the cards nothing was stopping me, met up with Keith.B and a mate and set off at 7.10am from the marin.

Stopped off close in for mackerel but only landed the one and a few voalie so headed out to a wreck where we hit then 3-4 at a time. Bait got we then moved further off shore and hit fish in very very good number son every wreck, pirks, shad and bait all working.

We had a smooth sea, sun almost out a great slow drift, bit crack and a boat almost sinking with cod...good day out and canny crack.

I an with the best ling of the day at about 11lb

Not great pics today to tired from work and winding fish up:) hope the weekend is as kind to everyone as it was for us today.

So not the best read this one but way to tired..fishing fantastic.

Not a pritty pic but it gives you idea of how full the boat was of fish today alot of people wanted cod for the BBQ etc.

well done lads, thats some mess to clean up, i thought it was bad last year when we got all them ling off that one wreck.

Superb result Richy, Talk about a double shift. That's a canny haul of fish, well done lads. I gave you a shout on 6, but you must have been very busy at the time.

Bet you're knackered Richy :D , but it's a nice knackered eh? :D You should have had your mam out up at Amble this morning , there were more dolphins about than you could shake a stick at , doing somersaults and everything , brilliant.

I wish them Dolphins would get there ass down here...this weekend will be my last for 2 weeks i think as lifting the boat for a service and bearing change.

Was a cracking day all round and the cod came in thick and fast with just the odd ling showing up.

Do a better report Sat with fingers crossed as many fish or half that would still be fine..good luck to everyone thats out.

Ritchie, you need a fish box or two it would save a bit of cleaning up when you come in knackered after a nightshift and day’s fishing. Well done on the haul.

Well i dont often keep fish so never needed one, only keep 1-2 fish a trip but this year due to the price of fish, family asking for more so i have fished a box out the sea...a Norway white fish 2011 ice box thing so its going to get used this year.

Arther i did try on C6 but maybe been to far off if you at the Can
