Well set off at 6am yes 6am :) headed out the piers and hit by a North east wind and choppy seas.

Decided to give it a bash and started on the trip out, 1st wreck was full and i mean full of whiting and scotties so we moved on...2nd wreck 1st drift bang a nice 9lb cod but not followed with anyhting else after a few more drifts.

Tried a few more wrecks and picked up some 6lb ling and some more cod between 3lb and 7lb.

Hard days fishing with only about 8 fish over 3lb and not one single mackerel and bot did we try for them, every wreck and even turned the finder on for surface track but never passed over any large shoals.

Still canny day and i was happy with the 9lb cod and Gaz had a canny day also taken the best ling of the day.

Couple of pics but the rain kept the camera inside most the trip.

Tried to uploads the 9lb cod pic and a couple others but just come sup failed, will try again later when am not shattered.
