Well 1st day of my 2 weeks off work and was greated with a smooth glass like sea and no wind at all, Graham back off the subs bench from work and we all set for a cracker.

Well the last couple of trips to my fav wrecks and wrecks i call "Bankers" had not been as good as i hoped i thought stuff it lets go and fish off Seaham, so after a long stam off after hitting a few wrecks on the way picking up a cracking stamp of cod 6-8lb we started fishing 11miles off Seaham and when ever i fish a wreck i ahve never fished before i always get a buzz when the 1st fish comes in.

We fished a record 16 wrecks in one day with fish on most of them but all the fish we did get to a good stamp and Graham taken the biggest a ling of 9lb. The morning was all cod then the afternoon was all ling.

Mackerel bloody everywhere out there its just silly...so with the sun starting to go down we headed for home and a very long steam back.

:mad::mad: It's just not cricket!!!! I'm off work and getting dragged round blinking clothes shops while you lads are out in a flat calm sea catching fish!!!!

Nice one lads :D

Well done Rich you are going to set on hell of a catch record this year. If the mackerel are that thick in the water I might see if Tony on the mistress has a spot for an evening session.

Jonny:)

May as well they there as soon as the water cleans up....look for a day when the tide is high around 5ish and book up you should fill you boots on a evening trip.

Keith maybe out Wed with Graham again if you fancie it...last trip out until the 8th of Aug for me.

Thanks for the offer Richy but she'd kill me, we're off on our hols on Thursday and if you could see all the clothes that need sorting & packing you'd think we'd chartered our own plane :D
