Wel lweather beaten again but made it out for a short 3hr spell over the wrecks, so wish i could of stayed out longer but it was getting abit unsafe with waves crashing over the side and front of the boat from 30mph south winds.

Anyway the short time i had ended up with 7 ling with 2 of them 9lb, 1 cracking pollack about 5lb (best this year so far) and 4 codling about 3-4lb along with about 20 mackerel and a few pouting and whiting.

DRIFTING AT 2.4K LOL but the fish still biting so god knows how well it would have fished if the drift was slow and the sea flat.

Good few hours out anyway and fingers crossed for thur now

Better safe than sorry Ritchy , I love fishing as much as anyone and will stay till the cows come home when they are "on" , but it's not worth risking life or limb for , that's a good catch you managed anyway in such a short spell and in those conditions. I'm thinking about a bigger boat , maybe a 21 ft pilothouse so I feel safer when I'm out there , but I still won't take daft chances with the sea ......... nice one though Ritch ;)
