Stocking Waskerley

We're stocking the lake this afternoon.

The brownies tend to shy off when first stocked and are 'difficult' but should be more keen to take fly or worm tomorrow and the weekend, especially when they start getting hungry and have to feed themselves for the first time.

Wotfettle Bonny Lad,

Another hot spot is where the burn runs in just about 200 yards from the little sandy bit you're on about. The wiser (and usually bigger)fish often hang around the burn outlet 'cos they know that food will be washed down towards them. It's also more oxygenated there due to the waterfall upstream.

Tight lines,

Drof.

P.S.

As only five day tickets are allowed per day, it may be prudent to book in advance if you are thinking of going during the Bank Holiday.
