Never fished here before but thinking of trying it this week. Is it a high water mark? Snaggy?

Its a high or low water mark mate it is pritty snaggy as well if ya fish low water up to high you will see where the rocks are so you will know where to cast.

when the conditions are ryt, its a crackin mark, high water is ya best bet tho

Homeses gut is the shot, at the bottom of the steps turn left, walk about 30 yards. Fish it on a big swell 2 hours after high water down to low. On big tides the area u are fishing empties out quicker though.
