How did you get on? I thought loch Stroan was syndicate?

No Jim its not..I had to cancel last minute after my car was all packed

but my mate had around 20 out up there over the weekend

Want to try Stroan next time Im up that way. Permits form the shop in Mossdale I believe?

Day ticket from castle douglas not sure about the shop in mossdale, His biggest was 12 i think Jim

Sure u can get em in mossdale too. Was up woodhall a few weeks back and sure he said they do em for Stroan and the forestry lochs too

I fished Woodhall in march...some good sized fish in there
