Got stuck mucking the horses out for my daughter who's ill with a stomach bug, so I didn't get out fishing until 10:30pm and missed the high water. Blowing a gale but managed one whiting (9") on a 4/0 pennel and a 6" bait! Left when the tripod smashed over with both rods in it, no major damage but some nice scratches . 2 lads fishing the 45 had 3 small codling and 2 whiting around high water.
Ever wish you hadn't bothered?

As far as fishing goes, Rob......NEVER......lol
Didn't venture out the house the night......sounded a bit wild, m8.
It's a long walk back down the pier after a night like that, innit.
