went up for 2 days again and fished up north at crawton area on sat with a nice sea on,plenty colour and a nice lazy swell to keep it that way ended up with 38 between andy and myself all size to 6lb,couple of 5lbers 10 in the 3lb range but the majority were in the 1&1/2to 2&1/2lb range all fresh run and all returned.
amazingly whole squid stuffed with mussel was nailed by the smaller fish and the better fish went for lug/mussell.
Fished the Arbroath open today at castlesea bay beside auchmithie and the sea had died a death and the good colour was all but gone only leaving a tinge and i had two codling for 4lb+ Andy had 3 codling and a coley for 6lb+.
winner only had 12lbish and hf was 6lb+.
need a good easterley sea to bring some better sized fish in,only have a few weeks of this winter season left.
