Fished the Match today with on form Andy Brown,conditons were flat sea with barely a tinge of colour and bright sunshine
1st Alan Crombie 7 pollack for 24lb including hf just over 5lb(he floatfished for them giving the conditions were crap for cod
2nd Andy Brown 2 codling for 7lb4oz heaviest codling 4lb11oz
3rd Brian Ritchie (never heard what his bag weight was)
68 seniors and 4 juniors fished.
about 15 weighted in.
i only managed 3 coley with two being undersized.

Oh dear Gordon,things not improved much since last week eh?
I hope there is a stir up for the match next sun,dont think i will be going up for it otherwise.
Did you and Andy manage to avoid the new rods in the tackle shop this weekend

OH YES no new rods bought this w,e lol heres hoping the seas away fri/sat this week for the comp on sunday if you do come up

Thanks Gordon and Tony ...Crack-off i put all my fish in my box (26lb)in my box to get up the hill the back rest snaped and the straps were cutting into my shoulders

yep heavy bags of fish are a challenge! thats why i only keep fish if its for a match! need to get a mule to carry the kit!
