posted on 27/2/2004 at 08:58Robfow and I fished the north end from 7:00pm till about 10:15 when we literally got blown off the beach. Moved down to the Tyne to the Ice house Till about midnight. Bob had a couple of tiny tommy"s I had nowt. The conditions were perfect, we thought the sea would be spitting out cod all night but no. All the usual baits were used to no avail. Never mind we are going back tonight to see if things can get better.
