posted on 29/12/2003 at 11:56Popped down, just for an hour with a handfull of mackeral strips out of the freezer... constant stream of bites from the instant the line hit the water, guy along from me had a good size flatty... pulled in the biggest whiting i've ever caught from the shore, usually only get piddly little things but i thought this was a bloody codling at first it was so fat! lol.. returned the fish anyway.
Popping along the pier this afternoon for another short session of maybe 90mins or so...
