Fished Cambois beack at the mouth of the wansbeck for flatties yesterday. Was with Stewy 007 and between us we had 13 fish, mostly Dabs and Flounders. 3 of them were keepers. Used Rag and lug baits tipped with Mackrel. We were catching them under our noses at one stage. Good fun. Sea was flat and the wind slow westerly.
Are you supposed to fillet the flatties, or just gut them, lop off ther heads and cook them fins and all?

Well done Steve.
Just 'top and tail' them (guts removed) and cook whole - flesh easily comes away from the bone.
