posted on 26/2/2005 at 20:17Had a change and went winter fishing again.Started fishing at 2pm on Blyth pier till 5pm and only seen 5 whiting caught and i had 4 of them (all under size) must have been 40 people on the pier and beach. Headed down and fished the swimming pool at Tynemouth, first chuck...slack lined and in comes in 4lb 2oz codling, fished for 1hr after that and only caught 1 small colie.
Not a bad night but so bloody cold.
