posted on 25/11/2004 at 15:25Fished Whitley Bay beach opposite the rendevous cafe this afternoon for a couple of hours. Ended up with 4 Conger eels up to 35lb. All fish were taken on a tin of spam covered in tomato sauce set on a size 16 hook to 2lb line.
Hope me posting this doesn't make the place packed tomorrow night!!!!
