Fished the high tide on Saturday afternoon at Cullercoats, ragworm, lug and squid - not a damned sniff :-(
Took the last of the bait down to Blyth harbour last night for an hour after tea, one Whiting and it was the skinniest thing I've ever seen. All the other whitings i've had recently have been fairly well stuffed with food, this one looked in a terrible state..
