Just a quicky as I havn't had a lot of time and doubt I will have much more tomorrow lol.

Got up there just afore 8 '0' clock and met David and Rod at St. Vedas. Decided to go to the same mark as you lads on the 26th. A beautiful morning and the walk along the track was as spectacular as the first time I went.

Climbed down the hill and was surprised at how easy it was, apart from doing the last 4 or 5 yards on me arris lol, found a slippy bit. Clambered over the rocks the hard way as we were a wee bit early with the tide and geared up for the start of the day. We got bite after bite with no fish coming for a while and then Rod got his first a Wrasse of about 3 lb and a bit I would guess. He then got another one a few chucks later and started to give us younguns some grief lol.

A little while later I was getting bite after bite (one as I hit the bottom) and then I got my only fish a Wrasse of maybe 2 1/2 lb. Not a biggun but my first one so was very happy with that. The picture is on Rod's phone so David will sort it when he gets back.

Unfortunately that was it for the day fish wise so we set back off up the hill and back to the St, Vedas Hotel for a beer before heading back down the A1. We managed to sneak past the Bees nest both times without upsetting them much to Rod's pleasure lol.

All in all a fantastic day with two fantastic People. Thank's again for the day David and Rod, looking forward to next year allready. Also thank's for the present, I am just going to drink it now.

If any of you get the chance to go to Eyemouth with these two lads grab it with both hands.

Jim.
