posted on 27/10/2004 at 23:20just had 4 days over in the Port of Carslile, a wee bit of fishing, a wee bit of sleeping and a canny bit of boozing.... went over there on Sat night& drank the night away, had a good session on Sunday, match included, Then Monday morning,up at 5am to drive to the Mull of Galloway, the weather was crap, wind, rain & a megga hangover. Hit the heartattack hill early in the morning. The conditions were sh*t , 3 of us fished about 4/5 hours lost loads, I think I got back 2 casts in 10, the lads not doing much better, the result was 3 LSD,,,, one snapped rod, one knackerd reel, and a missing rod tip..The walk down the hill was bad the walk up was worse, the wind was bad, it was pi$$ing down I did the first quater on my hands & knees ....... I would guess that the place was spot on for fishing in the right conditions, but we got the worst,changed the venew on Tues, went to Maryport on Tues, caught loads of little whities& flatties,also a can of Pepsi,... I went for a little walkabout, as I got back Coza said I,d had a wee bite, so I pulled it in & caught the can of Pepsi id just drank ( the barstewards) appart from that a good time had by all,
