posted on 24/11/2004 at 21:00Hi all, I am a new member and this is my first post. Me and finny travelled up from west yorks last night to fish middleton pier, previous two trips had produced nowt, but last night was excellent, plenty of whiting about, came home with 4 decent ones and a nice flatty, but most were returned. Between 8-10 fishing at any given time between 10-30pm and 4am, everyone seemed to be catching, one guy had a 2lb cod as well, unluckiest man was finny, with rod well bent and what looked like a 3 t 4 lb cod on, it dropped back into the drink before he could get it over the wall, we have just started fishing again after almost 40 years, so a big thank you to those who have helped and given us advice on our recent visitsl
