Fished Hendon (the mixer) 7pm to 12 had 2 codling 2.5lb and 3lb my mate got nowt - two other mates fished the back of the tanks & got only whiting
very very quiet down there tonight apart from us 4 mates only saw one other angler (on a saturday when the seas been away) very strange !

Was the same at Whitley bay and Blyth last night Marty, very quiet. I left very early myself.

Same here fished whitley pipe and the back of the boat house not a sausage.

marty i havent fished there for a couple of month cos i heard reports the police have been chasing ppl off there regularly ?

I have been told by people while down there, that one of the security guards in particular is always calling the police - but i have always been lucky and when i have seen a security guard they have been ok

a lot probably saved there bait for the easington open on sunday ,£2,000 top prize , won with a cod just under 6 lb, about 450 entered i got stuck with an ass hole from hartlepool who keeped pulling my line in and snapping me off , even chucked two of my fish in the water after he snapped me off . his name was sid beeson so any one fishing next to a tall ,skinny , ugly git watch your line and your fish . spoiled my day . i caught 5 whiting but let them go after sid started as i knew i was going to get no where in the comp .
