managed to get up early fished howick haven caught nowt but lost gear which i thought i might, drove up to craster and walked that walk to the castle fished off rocks with a bleedin snag every cast lost some more gear even with rotten bottoms and cannylinks 2 small wrasse, 2 nice coalies, 1 small codling and a crab, all returned. plenty good knocks but every time i snagged and lost fish and rigs , was changing rig when something caught my eye, turned around and not more than 10" away in the water there's this great big bull seal staring staight at me with big head and eyes to match i was to slow to get a photo.
well that was the fishing finished there so i set off back to craster fishing along the way, only one other fish and that was a small weaver fish wich was also put back. all in alll not a bad day . we need some good north east winds to get the fish in.
cheers mark
