posted on 1/2/2004 at 02:23Met up with Robfow at the north end of Blyth beach where we intended fishing the beach. Far too much wind straight in your face so we gave the pier a try. At least the wind (and rain) was on our backs. That was a waste of time and it didn"t take us long to realise. Just one guy had a fish (about 2 and a half pounds) so we legged it. Not a bite. Drove down to the Ice house on the Tyne, second chuck I got a Codling of three pounds. Bob got a few undersized Codling but that was it. all the usual baits were used but nothing on the liver tonight lol.
