posted on 21/2/2005 at 17:25Me nd Finn fished hartlepool thursday afternoon/night, and had our best yet, finny caught 9 whiting totaling almost 17lb whilst i could only manage a mear half a dozen totaling 11lbs, what was amazing, was,having been there from 2pm untill 10-30 pm, and thouroughly enjoyed ourselves, that, whilst we wrapping up our tackle we realised there was a large amount of people the length of miggy pier,and as we left counted over thirty fishing, not were only the old school there,but teenagers, mothers with husbands, kids in pushchairs, all having a good time, flasks and sarnies etc all at hand,
all had a whiting or two, to show for there efforts and everyone spoke or said goodnight as we left, thats fishing for you. made our day i can tell you
