Ian was straight into a 3.5lb codling
Lots of bites followed, but nothing came of them.
Moved onto the pier around 11:30.
1st cast from the pier and I had a 2lb Plaice.
Again lots of bites....this time with a bit more success.
Only 5 fish caught all night between the 2 of us, but......they were ALL different species
1 codling (Ian) 3.5lbs
1 plaice (me) 2lbs
1 whiting (me) in size / not kept
1 coley (Ian) in size / not kept
1 pouting (me)...wouldn't keep it no matter what size it was !!
An unusual night in 2 respects.....
1. all differnent species
2. I caught fish !
