After last weeks blank at hull, decided to visit our favourite spot, miggy pier,at hartlepool, torrential rain all the way up the A1 and A19, didnt dampen our spirits and upon arriving it was a pleasant nite, didnt have a lot of luck though, just a small whitey and a crab for me, and the bigun didnt do much better with just a flattie and small coley all returned, mind you, he did do well on the crabs, 5, in all, about another 6 on the pier all caught a few flatties which seemed to be in abundance on the north side, facing the old port, and the odd whiting, wrapped up about 2am, and landed safe and sound at homeat 3-45 am,roll on next week ps just like easington lots of weed about, and its a while since ive seen so much sea coal on the beach
