Had a dabble on Newbiggen Prom last night with Jim ( fishing I mean )KeithB was supposed to turn out but he said he had an encounter the previous night with a bloke called Jim and it made him feel terrible ( apparently Mr.Beam is a right nasty bugger ).
We had a good few bites landing a small coley and a few rockling bait used crab ,runnydown but mostly yellowtails (cheers Jim) ,it was worth going out just for the craic ,a laugh as usual and MUCH better than telly.....just noticed 2000 posts ....how many

Obviously lol and I left my flask on the bench at home so his coffee was nice as well so coupled with the rig wallet he gave me and the fact we used his car I reckon I owe a few beers out.

No doubt I'll be having words with Mr Beam again tomorrow.

I was telling a bloke at work I'd had a couple of glasses of wine then a whisky or two and felt terrible, according to him you should never mix "grain & grape" whatever the hell that means.

Pleased you's had a canny night anyway

I reckon you are going to have to have a night on purely grape and then ANOTHER on purely grain.....all in the aim of scientific experimentation of course, Keith. Let us know the results - it may be that more of us have to join in this expperiment to make sure we get proper results lol!

Ali

PS the vodka is doing ok tonight I have just handed in my uni management report ( a biggie) so I need some stress relief so count me in on any experimentation with regards to drink as the fishing isnt up to much at the minute

Pleased to hear you are a bit better now Ali, I'm doing another Whisky experiment tonight lol. Seems to be going ok up to now.

I can confirm I'm ok after grape only, maybe the glasses of JB should of been a bit smaller than the glasses of wine.

During any experiment the more data collected the better, so I'll be in the bar before, during and after the match today!

Careful, drink and computers do not mix. I've just found out I've placed bets on The Masters and World Snooker Champs.

I'll not be complaining if they come up trumps though. had a sneaky £1 each way on a 66/1 shot in the National. Got back £17.50 as Paddypower paid out to 5th place.

Well done Ernie Els. Blew the comp but birdied the 18th which meant Paddy Power refunded my £2 bet. On a roll
