Fished the Quarry Hole at Newbiggin with a few mates last night on the flood (gave up around 10.30). Big sea running, but no fish turned up....
Bait used Rag, Lug, Mussle and Peeler.
Good to sea some rollers coming in for a change, if the sea keeps up it should fish well and will be worth another bash.

This is one of my favorite spots. Last time i fished it i was getting great bites every cast. Finished up with a tommy,a whiting and a poddler.
Never missed as many bites in my life.
I can remember fishing this mark one april though and still having a good bag of fish (in daylight too) so its worth a chuck i find its crap on the flood though best from 3-5 hrs down on the ebb in my experience
