Tried fishing the high tide to no avail. Fished off the sea defense rocks at the front and hooked into something first cast. As winding in, fish got caught by huge wave and washed in amongst the rocks. Tried to retrieve but fish was flapping merrily under a whopping pile of weed, nearly got washed in by next wave and was thoroughly soaked!
Tried again at low tide but nothing doing, couldnt cast far enough out because of the wind, forgot my wellies so feet soaked now and bloody freezing, called it a night. Drew my first blank of 2005!
Did anybody catch anything? Was plenty of fisherman right round the bay?
